Absolutely brilliant!, 2010-08-16
My 17-month-old is allowed 20 mins of DvD before bedtime and was rapidly growing out of the Baby Eistein selection we had for her. After much research I bought this DvD and cannot recommend it enough. The animation is simple and beautiful. The stories enchanting, and filled with characters and items she can recognise from everyday life. Best of all are the voices in the videos that seem to be aiding her language every day. You won't regret watching your little one chuckling aloud in front of the TV to what is a totally innocent (although brief) pleasure! Every parent of a young child should have this at home.

I don't think it is be possible to say anything bad about Thomas DVD's or books. All the stories tend to be fun, with a bit of adventure and excitement and a moral story about being useful to finish off.

My only gripe is that they are so much fun to my little ones that I have to watch them over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I will say that to some children the odd one or two episodes of some Thomas DVD's can be a little scary. Especially when there is talk of ghosts or the spooky smelters yard at night.

This DVD does not have any of the 'scary stuff' in the 6 episodes so it is suitable for younger 'little ones'

At it's original sale price it would verge on not being that good value for money - for just 6 episodes.

HOWEVER:

Buy it here on Amazon at the advertised lower price and it is a steal!

bought this dvd for my wee boy and he loves it so much he watches it nearly every day and knows when sam is comming.
for the price of the dvd is brill and picture is great and also educational which you cant go wrong. you also get a little time to do things while the wee one is loving fireman sam.
i think the dvd is on for an hour all in - would recommend

absolutely classic disney for all - brought back memories from when I was young. I watched it with my toddler grand-daughter (age 2 years) and she was as riveted as I was when I saw it as a young teen. Great stuff.
